Volunteer with NI South East
The Nuclear Institute South East Branch (NI SE) welcomes interest from potential enthusiastic volunteers to get involved in the governing of our branch and organising of our branch activities including our signature Educational Site Visits, branch networking events and lectures. There are also opportunities to introduce new events if members are keen.
Why get involved?
Our Branch Committee is made up of volunteers who have given their time to help run the branch and they work alongside the Nuclear Institute’s head office to deliver the NI’s aims and objectives.
Involvement with our committee team will provide you with an excellent opportunity to build your networks within the nuclear industry and gain evidence to support applications for professional registration. You will also have first-hand knowledge of what strategies and plans the national Nuclear Institute has and be able to target your involvement in areas of your personal interest or professional field.
Examples of the roles within our NI SE branch are:
- Chair Person
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Industrial Liaison
- Event Officer
- Communication & Membership Officer
- Education & Training Officer
- YGN Officer
While the above committee roles are currently filled for our NI SE Branch, we would strongly encourage you to get in touch as we would welcome further involvement and may be able to introduce deputy- or sub-committee positions to fit your interest. We don’t want the limited number of committee positions to stop your desire to get involved.
How do I get involved?
If you would like to get involved and be part of NI SE committee, please do not hesitate to get in touch by e-mailing Suksun Hutangkabodee at southeast@nuclearinst.com
