The NI/NIA Annual Nuclear Dinner is going ahead on 2nd December 2021
In addition to the below please click here to view the information sent out to all our guests today.
Covid-19 - important actions prior to attending the dinner
As you will be aware the nuclear industry takes the safety of its staff very seriously and we believe that the vast majority of attendees will have taken their own sensible Covid precautions such as vaccination and regular testing. However, given that we have over 1200 guests at the dinner next week we are asking ALL guests to carry out a lateral flow test up to 24 hours before attending. You should of course not attend the dinner if you either test positive or have Covid symptoms. Please note your tickets are fully transferable to a colleague who has also taken a test. You do not need to notify us of a change of attendee in advance.
More information on testing and how to access these tests can be found here. You do not need to bring your test with you, merely to confirm on arrival that you have undertaken a test. If you are the host of a table please make sure that all your guests understand and act on this request for their safety and that of everyone else.
You may also wish to familiarise yourself with the venue's current protocols here for safety purposes

Russell Kane
Award-winning stand-up, writer and performer Russell Kane has firmly established himself as one of most hotly-tipped comics in the UK.
Russell has won the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for his show ‘Smokescreens and Castles’ - having been shortlisted for the award a total of three times including one nomination for Best Newcomer. To challenge himself further, Russell also produced a more unconventional Edinburgh show with his critically acclaimed hit Fakespeare: The Tragickal Savings of King Nigel, a bawdy romp set in a modern-day Essex where everyone speaks in Shakespearean verse.
As if that wasn’t enough, energetic Russell has also written a play called ‘The Great British Country Fete’, joined ITV2’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now presenting team, appeared on Live at the Apollo, and embarked on two national tours within just six months of each other. He’s also gone on to host Staying in with Greg and Russell and Live at the Electric for BBC Three and written a novel, The Humorist.
Russell is a regular on TV and radio, with other credits including a week-long residency presenting Big Brother’s Big Mouth and travelling across the US filming a series of travelogues and celebrity interviews for Five.
