YGN Speaking Competition: North East Branch

The NI YGN speaking competition is returning for 2023. This year’s North East Branch competition will be held in person with the winner taking part in person at the national final being held during Nuclear Week in Parliament (12th - 14th September).

To enter, please send the title of your talk and a maximum of 200 word synopsis to events.northeast@nuclearinst.com by 25th June


The top six synopses will be selected to come and present. 

Prizes

1st place. £300 with a place in the national final. To make sure your talk is finely tuned for the final, every finalist will receive a free communication and presentation skills course with an instructor from our friends at DragonflyWins.

2nd place. £150

3rd place. £75

4th to 6th place. £25

The winner of the national final will also get the chance to speak at the YGN Annual Seminar and Dinner, including a free ticket to the event.

The competition is open to everyone under the age of 37 at the time of the competition (i.e. those eligible to be members of the NI Young Generation Network).  The competition is open to members and non-members of the NI.
