Innovate for Nuclear (I4N) is a world-spanning annual contest where teams of students and young professionals present their new and innovative ideas on how to use nuclear technology. The 2025 I4N theme is Economic Development.
The winner of the I4N UK Contest will have the opportunity to represent the UK at the I4N-Europe’s regional final, which will take place in Zagreb, Croatia in June 2025; The winner of the I4N Europe Competition will then be invited to represent Europe at the IYNC I4N Global Final in Paris 2026.
The UK competition will take place from January-April and teams of no more than 4 members will be required to submit an application form detailing their innovations. These submissions will be shortlisted and the finalists will be invited to the UK Final, taking place at the end of April, where the innovations will be presented in front of a live audience and a panel of expert judges from across the nuclear industry.
