Events

The talk will cover a very brief history about the NRS Harwell Site, which was a centre for advanced science and technology for more than 65 years. The site has adapted to changing circumstances and now the emphasis is on decommissioning, waste management and site restoration.

This leads to the recent decommissioning activities undertaken and an overview of what facilities remain, the process used and some of the challenges involved. The work is being completed to work towards the release of land for future use.
