Cumbria Branch webinar: The Nuclear Decommissioning Industry – a Personal Journey

Nuclear Decommissioning is an exciting and thriving area to work in. The complexity of the challenge is significant, but this is almost dwarfed by the scale of what lies ahead. We are at a turning point as the majority of the world’s fleet of nuclear reactors, built before the 1980s nuclear boom, are coming to the end of their life.

In this NI webinar, Dave Wilson (Market Director for AtkinsRéalis’ Decommissioning and Waste Services) will reflect on 30 years in the nuclear industry, how the industry has grown and evolved in this time and key lessons learned. His talk will also focus on technological innovations and digital tools and how they are increasingly shaping how we deliver work – making it safer, faster, and cheaper (or do they?) to solve some of the industry’s most complex problems.

Join us for this session which promises to offer valuable learning and insight, regardless of whether you are already working in the industry, thinking about entering, or just want to find out more about it.
