North East Branch: Hartlepool Power Station Tour
Join us on a tour around the North East's only nuclear power station. Hartlepool power station has been providing power to the north east since 1983. Due to enter decommissioning in 2026, this is the ideal time to join us as we take a look behind the workings of this operational plant.
Meeting at 9:30 at the Hartlepool power station, the power station staff will take us on a tour of the inner workings of the power station.
During and following the event there will be an opportunity to speak with Nuclear Institute North East Branch volunteers to find out more about the institute and local events.
