The Nuclear Institute North East Branch are very pleased to have arranged a visit to RED Engineering at Hexham on Thursday 20^th March at 3.30pm.  There will also be a talk from PDL whose offices are located nearby. It’s always exciting to actually physically see what RED are doing and hear from both RED and PDL about projects which are vital to their customers.

RED continue to grow by providing tested solutions in working in a multitude of hazardous environments and are well placed to support the emerging engineering challenges of the SMRs. This  visit, which will include a tour of their newest facility, should not be missed for anyone involved in engineering in the Nuclear Industry.

PDL, which is now part of Vulcain, provide broad specialist engineering  support across a wide range of industries particularly nuclear. They will give an overview of their activities.

Overall this is a great opportunity to become familiar with two of the North East most dynamic SME’s.
