Join the YGN for a discussion with Ian Chapman to learn about his journey from graduate to UK Atomic Energy Authority’s Chief Executive Officer. Ian joined UKAEA after completing a PhD at Imperial College London as a Plasma Physicist and progressed through several roles within the organisation to leadership positions including Head of Tokamak Science and Fusion Programme Manager before being appointed CEO in 2016. Ian was knighted in the 2023 New Year Honours for services to global fusion energy.

This event will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams and is not limited in numbers, so the more the merrier! Bring some lunch and we will make a start at noon.
