"Membership of the NI is a fantastic resource, offering NuGen staff access to training and networking opportunities to enhance their knowledge and develop their skills and their careers."
To underline NuGen's commitment to its new relationship with the Nuclear Institute, the company has been announced as the main sponsor of the Women in Nuclear UK's upcoming conference, held in London in February 2017, where Tom Samson will be a headline speaker. NuGen's recruitment drive at its Manchester city centre offices and in West Cumbria has been bucking the nuclear trend, with 43% of staff female - and an emphasis on younger graduates entering the industry for the first time.
CEO of The Nuclear Institute Alastair Laird said: "NuGen continues to set high standards and be innovative in their thinking. We are thrilled to be partnering with such a dynamic company setting a high bar for professionalism across all staff working on their new nuclear build development at Moorside."
