Jack Gritt, President, Women in Nuclear UK, said:
“We’re delighted to confirm launch the third annual conference, which is quickly becoming a staple in the nuclear industry calendar. We have received much support for our aims and objectives and encourage people to attend to help us debate the issues, so that we know what matters most to industry, as we move to improve the representation of women in leadership and to engage with the public on nuclear issues.”
NuGeneration Ltd, has taken lead sponsorship of the event, confirming its commitment to diversity across the nuclear sector.
Jack continued:
“We are delighted to have sponsors and exhibitors confirmed before we even launch the event. This shows the commitment from organisations across the sector to addressing the issues of gender balance and diversity."
Tom Samson, Chief Executive of NuGeneration, said:
“NuGen remains absolutely committed to WiN UK and I’m extremely proud to announce our sponsorship of this flagship event. Our staff profile is unique within the nuclear industry – predominantly young, more than 40 per cent female and well positioned to take on the unique challenge of helping deliver the Moorside Project.”
In addition to the main conference, a reception for conference delegates will be held on 31 January in the House of Commons, hosted by Jamie Reed MP.
