Do you want to help run the Nuclear Institute? Have you ever considered getting more involved in Nuclear Institute activities, its decisions and strategy? The Board of Trustees is looking for nominations for new Trustees.
The NI Board of Trustees can only serve a maximum of two terms of three years in office, at the end of which, new Trustees need to be elected. There are three possible routes to elect trustees:
• Current Trustees, who wish to stand again, can opt for re-election
• The Board of Trustees can nominate new candidates
• Members can be put forward by five members of the Nuclear Institute
The Board of Trustees must be made up if no more than five learned members, five members with post nominals and five corporate members.
If we receive more nominations than vacant Trustee positions, then an election will be held.
If you are interested in standing as a trustee please download the nomination form below.
Each nomination needs to be supported by five active members.
Nominations must be returned to Tony Lawrence, Interim CEO by 24th October 2014.
Ballot papers for election will then be available and should be returned by 21st November 2014.
Results will be announced at the AGM on 4th December.
