Bio
Steve is a highly accomplished operations leader with over 35 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
Currently, Steve serves as the Senior Director of Operations at Amentum, supporting the critical High Waste Vitrification Project at Hanford. Prior to this role, he held the position of Chief Project Director for over two years.
Steve's extensive experience includes a 33-year tenure at Sellafield Ltd, where he functioned as both Site Director and Interim Human Resources Director. Additionally, he held leadership positions such as Chief Operating Officer and Operations Director. Career began with BNFL, where he rose from Operations Manager to Executive Site Director, Sellafield.
Steve holds a first-class honours Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. He is also a dedicated community leader, having volunteered as a Trustee for Hospice at Home West Cumbria for nearly a decade.
