Women in Nuclear UK Executive members Professor Melissa Denecke and Dr Joanne Hill have been appointed to the Board of the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management (CORWM). The Committee provides independent advice on the long-term management of radioactive waste to the UK Government and Devolved Administration Ministers. Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change, Andrea Leadsom, made a total of 13 appointments to the Board on 1st July.
