Women in Nuclear and the NI Western Branch invites you to our Speedmentoring Event to be held before the NI Western Branch Dinner 10th March 2016 (1700-1830)
The ever-popular WiN UK Speedmentoring will take place once again prior to the NI Western Branch Dinner in Bristol Hotel, Bristol. This gives you the chance to be mentored by senior level people from across the industry. Get in touch if you would like to be a mentee - places are limited. As this is a Women in Nuclear event, all mentees should be female. Priority is given to WiN and/or NI members and/or those who are attending the WB dinner.
How it works:
• Each mentee spends 5 minutes discussing a chosen topic which each mentor in turn (breaks included)
• The mentors are a selection of well respected, senior individuals from across the industry
• A fantastic opportunity for mentees to tap in to their mentors wealth of experience
The key aims of the event are to:
• Create an opportunity for women in the industry to network
• Allow the opportunity for women to discuss career paths and progression
• Encourage discussion on nuclear industry-specific gender issues
• Promote WiN UK and the Nuclear Institute and invite industry to join membership.
Mentee benefits include:
• Obtain different views and ways of thinking on a specific topic or question which in turn increases the tools available when approaching similar situations in the future
• Develop a wider industry understanding by meeting individuals from across the sector
• Gain knowledge to support personal development plans and career pathway goals
